Chemothermia Oncology Center

Chemothermia Oncology Center is a specialist cancer treatment clinic located at Fulya Terrace, Istanbul, internationally recognised for its integrative approach to oncology. Sonraki Architecture completed the full interior design and fit-out of the clinic in 2019, delivering a healthcare environment that balances clinical precision with human-centred design.

The scope included interior architecture and technical documentation, custom-manufactured furniture and millwork, graphic design and wayfinding, decorative finishes, and project consultancy. Healthcare environments require a unique design approach — one that integrates rigorous technical requirements (infection control, accessibility, durable surfaces) with spatial qualities that support the emotional wellbeing of patients and families. Sonraki delivered on both fronts.

The design palette — restrained, warm, and carefully calibrated — aims to reduce clinical anxiety and create a sense of calm and dignity throughout the patient journey. Reception areas, consultation rooms, and treatment spaces were each designed with distinct functional and emotional parameters in mind.

Chemothermia is a key reference project demonstrating Sonraki's capability in healthcare interior design in Istanbul — a sector that demands both specialist knowledge and empathetic spatial thinking.
